As well as charging your electric vehicle from home, you can use one of many publicly available charge points. With the rise in sales of electric vehicles and the coming ban on the sale of petrol and diesel vehicles, there’s a push for more and more places to offer public EV chargers.

Various operators have different networks of charge points available, and some offer different ‘speeds’ of charging. These networks tend to operate independently and are accessed via different means. Some require a subscription to a network service whilst others will use a smartphone app. Some charge points will allow you to operate them immediately, with payment via a credit or debit card.
